New Community Education Classes

Be sure to check out the 45 plus new, interesting classes this Fall that are being offered by our Community Education Program. There are some great Arts and Crafts classes by well known, local artists. The topics include: the old craft of Pewtersmithing, Ornate Pine Needle Basketry and Stained Glass. We also have the classes that we have been offering for years like: Woodworking and Printmaking. Like music? Learn to play Folk Guitar or How to become a DJ in a club or for private parties. We are also offering a whole host of brand new jewelry classes along with our excellent, creative classes that we have been offering for years. Learn "Bead Master Strategies" and "Wire Workshops" at the West City Campus. Check out the pictures of what you can make in these exciting classes. Are you interested in Self Defense? Check out our three new classes offered out at Miramar College that will help you protect yourself and give you added confidence. Ever wanted to try Yoga, we have a beginning class that we are offering in the College Area out of our Mid City Campus. Interested in studying Spanish, French or Japanese? Here is your opportunity. We also have a new section on Business and Careers with special classes for small business owners and classes that provide skills and certifications to expand your professional skills.
