Structural Welding
1,200 hours. Complete in 48 to 52 weeks.
Classes prepare you for reading blueprints, and safely using different types of industry tools and equipment for oxy-fuel cutting and arc welding. Learn special procedures for gas metal arc welding, and the flux core welding process on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Plus study the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process on carbon steel plates.
Instruction is based on industry standards developed by the American Welding Society (AWS) and American Petroleum Institute (API).
Pipe Welding
1,200 hours. Complete in 48 to 52 weeks.
Learn basics about the gas tungsten metal arc welding process on ferrous and non-ferrous sheet, tube, and pipe materials. Gain expertise with carbon and stainless steel pipes, valves, flanges, and joints.
You’ll actually weld as part of this training, so understanding how to properly and safely use welding tools is a big part of this program.
