The Child Development Parent Education Program of Continuing Ed offers a unique experience for parents and their children, newborn to age 5
Adults learn sensitive and responsive parenting skills to foster their infants' physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth by interacting with the infant in a creative learning environment. Adults share and learn from their children, the instructor and each other.
Adults learn how to create a safe, nurturing environment in which to maximize the enjoyment of their child's unique and developing personality. Focus on active exploration of how toddlers learn and develop through play.

Adults and children learn together how to make the transition from babyhood to childhood. Focus on the language-learning, play fantasy and exploration that are part of overall development and become the groundwork for intellectual growth in the two-year old.
